Remember, there is limited seating at these events so call early for your reservations. Live Concert with Eric Skye! Eric
comes to us from Portland, Oregon. An acoustic jazz guitarist, he occupies a
unique niche by squarely being in the classic jazz guitar camp, but with the
intimate sound of the acoustic steelstring guitar, and an eclectic array of
influences from bluegrass, to Latin music, to vintage soul jazz and funk... all
threaded together with the blues, and a healthy respect for the groove. Eric's
music style makes him a perfect fit for an outdoor concert at the vineyard.
Visit Eric's website, EricSkye.com, to hear a sample of his music and to read
more about who 20th Century Guitar Magazine calls "one of the best rising stars
of the American acoustic jazz scene".Then, after you're convinced that Eric is a "must see", give us a call for reservations! Tickets are only $25 per person and includes a generous wine tasting, beer is also available. Doors open at 7pm with music from 8 until 10. This concert is planned outdoors in our amphitheater so dress accordingly! Call early, don't miss this concert. Call us at (405) 258-0525 for more information and to reserve your spots! Guitar Workshop With Eric Skye "More
and more I'm asked about doing workshops around the country or abroad, and I'm
always very excited to do so, either in connection with a concert or separately.
I have taught guitar for over twenty years and I truly love it. Talking about
music making is what I live for. I always strive to make it a very relaxed,
low-key affair. Hopefully you leave inspired, and having met a few other players
in your area. Typically a group gathers in a living room, music store, or other
casual space in the afternoon and we discuss things like improvisation,
technique, bringing together different influences, tone production, gear, how to
practice, listening, and playing in time. Lots of genre bending for sure. I'll
play lots examples, provide some materials to take home, and as always, people
are welcome to check out my Santa Cruz guitars. Attendees and can bring a guitar
and play if they want, or just hang back and check it out. It's an absolutely
zero pressure setting."-- Eric SkyeThis workshop is open to the public but reservations are required, seats are $20. For more information call us at (405) 258-0525 Did you Know??
