Cabernet Sauvignon Blend Cabernet Sauvignon Blend –Medium bodied, rich color. Great roundness to its mouthfeel, this wine gets a nice aged feel from a blend of our estate 2005 Shiraz and a youthful excitement from estate 2008 Merlot. Berries and cherries on the palate, enjoy this wine with a steak or grilled meats! Viva la Vin!

Greenfield Vineyard

Unlike last years' brutal growing season, we were able to harvest all of our varieties this year. So, things are looking up, right? As with just about every other crop around central Oklahoma this year, our grape harvest was 2 to 3 weeks early! Thanks to our mild winter and unseasonably warm March, our season got off to a great start. From the beginning we considered 2012 to be a "recovery year" so our expectations weren't too high. Our yield was about 10% of normal, but the quality of the fruit was surprisingly good. We think the Sauvignon Blanc will be exceptional. Watch for it to release around February 2013. For those who hoped to attend a Harvest Party this year, sorry, our yield was too low and the weather just too hot. We're still tired from having to do it all by ourselves so are looking forward to a great harvest next year with plenty of your help!
